The stone is named after its discoverer Colonel Hendrik Von Prehn. Von Prehn found the first of these gems in South Africa in 1788. Prehnite is a cloudy peppermint textured lightly with dark veins. Its pleasant green shade brings to mind the natural world and all its beauty.
This prenhite stone is set on a gold color German style wire with a copper and brass core.
